Cat's Claw

Nope, I'm not talking about those cute little cat's claw -

I'm talking about - THIS Cat's Claw

Dolichandra unguis-cati, commonly known as cat's claw creeper, funnel creeper,[2] or cat's claw trumpet,[2] a rapidly growing climbing vine belonging to the family Bignoniaceae.[3]

This plant is native to the tropical dry forest of Central America, South America

and the Caribbean.

The bark and root have been used for centuries in South America as a traditional medicine for many conditions, such as inflammation, cancer, and infections.

Cat’s claw seems to work both by boosting your immune response and calming an overactive immune system (3Trusted Source, 5Trusted Source).

Some small, preliminary studies from 2001 and 2002 suggest that cat's claw may reduce pain in people with rheumatoid arthritis (RA),3 an autoimmune disease, and osteoarthritis4 ("wear-and-tear arthritis").

Some early test tube studies have suggested that the POA found in cat's claw may have anti-tumor properties. It is believed that POA is toxic in specific cancers cells and may have less impact on the healthy cells that are typically damaged by chemotherapy.

Cat’s claw knocks down viruses while strengthening the immune system, making it a powerful support for cancer and tumors. To understand more about the true cause of cancers, you can read the chapter on Liver Cancer in Medical Medium Liver Rescue: Answers to Eczema, Psoriasis, Diabetes, Strep, Acne, Gout, Bloating, Gallstones, Adrenal Stress, Fatigue, Fatty Liver, Weight Issues, SIBO & Autoimmune Disease. It’s also a powerful anti-inflammatory.

The glycosides, proanthocyanidins and beta sitosterol found in cat’s claw exert a beneficial effect on memory, making it an excellent supplement for the prevention of Alzheimer’s disease and other cognitive/memory disorders. It also assists the liver’s personalized immune system, giving it a chance to recoup its strength and restore itself for the next battle. It helps the liver stabilize its environment.
